Kbps

Hi, Got a bit of a query. I know Dubstep MP3's are best at 320 Kbps, but does this apply for other genres of music? The reason I ask is because I'm planning on doing a little digital mix at a party coming up and I'm ripping some of my old house and trance CD's and I wanted to know if I HAD to rip th...

Its only the vinyl crackle that makes it burial like. The use of 'Musique concrète' sounds are pretty good, nothing new though. If i'm totally honest its the jazzy flute in the background thats the only true original aspect of the track. Still, some good work and the production quality is top.

OK UK heads, so Euro 2008 is coming...

The comp starts in just over a week. I'm still pissed that i'm not gonna be able to watch our nation play but i've come to the conclusion that its best to accept it and get on and enjoy the competition. The question is who am i gonna support? Who are you got root for? And why? I'm still undecided an...

Interesting thread. Naming a tune well is a huge sign of an artist having a connection with their music, which doesn't come easy for some people. Just try and think of words that instantly conjure up a relationship with the sound, however random they may be. Personally I wouldn't go searching for ra...

Someone needs to remix this tune...

Seriously loving this tune from Santogold. Love the bassline and her vocals are just pure dancefloor driven. You probably know it from the VO5 advert, check it out -

Can just see a dirty bass heavy dubstep remix of this tune, needs to be done.
