I'm getting a pair of KRK ROKIT RP8G2 studio monitors - will be using them for my desktop computer & DJ setup (turntables/4 channel mixer - not music production at this stage). On a relatively tight budget - what soundcard would you recommend I get for them? Also isolation pads a must?

A phrase sampler, the Yamaha SU700 was made exactly for that. If you can find one with the SCSI ZIP it's one of the best phrase samplers ever made. There's also the SU200.
