i just added one Denon DN-S1200 to my setup, bagged it for £360, very very pleased with it indeed. plays MP3s off USB as well. if i get good with it i'll probably add another one when i can spare the cash.

my Bose over-ears really pick out the subs i don't hear on other sets of cans, especially with Shackleton, 2562 etc. i'm on my second pair though, first ones got sat on by a two-year old and fell apart (got free replacements, didn't mention the toddler incident)

i'm shooting for the whole Berlin/Bristol sound with this, you know the kind of stuff. first tune i've posted up here so feedback very much appreciated.

I like that, but that kick is seriously squashed. Less compression on it or maybe just dropped and layered with another 'cause it sounds pretty harsh. Maybe you were looking for that though, just my opinion. no, you're right, the kick is nasty (an 808 layered with something else). work in progress....
