Jtransition: So essentially no mastering or eq work is going to be done, it's just going to be played through some analogue compressors or ssl stuff?? what eaxactly? I think a lot of people here might have the wrong idea about this, it won't really make a bad mix sound any better really, I think you...

I know, but how do you actually create the techy chord, I'm talking the actual sound, not notes. A chord IS a group of notes played together so maybe think about your wording... and music theory knowledge. I'm not sure what exact sound you're talking about as you're fairly vague, but to get t...

Only someone who writes their myspace bio in third person would make such an awful, pointless statement and make the assumption people actually give a shit. http://www.myspace.com/psyphonmusic I like this bit; these all in some way lend themselves to the way Psyphon perceives music and to the way he...

I've been waiting for a while for people to start doing dubstep influenced drum and bass. Not halfstep and wobbles at 170bpm, but dnb with based around sparseness, atmosphere and bassweight. It seems like a lot of DnB producers (at all levels) are thinking 'hey this dubstep stuff sounds cool, I'll ...

Not funny Blizzie! Hey try: ZillianDubstep LOL, That's even worse than putting UK after your name, or DJ before it. It would be good for when/if you branch out to making other genres of music though... Zilliandubstep, big in teh funky house scene. On topic again, one of my aliases is Azrael, there ...

£80 for a hardware compressor. It would be cheaper to just buy the case housing from a more respected/expensive analogue compressor as then you could still tell all your friends you have hardware and post pictures of your studio setup on forums. The other advantage over the alesis would be that...
