lwj - Barricade (dubstep/112bpm)

I haven't made anything in a long time that would make sense to post here, but I was working on this last weekend that turned out dubsteppish more by accident. The tempo is different though.

Re: Taking a Break

I've been at it for years, continuously... but I used to be real serious about that. Now i don't have time to sit on a track for a week so I just rinse them out real quick: usually put it down in a couple of hours and spend two more mixing it the next day, that's it.
Since i stopped taking it that ...

Re: Song writing Vs Producing

6 tracks that kinda go together. Not really dubstep, but it's bass + beats so whatever..

I usually eq it first, get the freqs out that I don't want. Then compress and eq it 'into' the mix. But, i'm no expert and I don't have a typical dubstep sound.
I don't like to use stereo wideners in a mix too much, they're unpredictable. I have to have it I use it near the end of the fx-chain, or ...

Hello, signing in from the netherlands. 25yrs. I discovered dubstep trough a chance encounter with the first burial album, i picked it up cause I liked the sleeve.

I've been making tunes for a couple of yrs and it has elements of dubstep, but i wouldn't call it dubstep. http://rapidshare.com/files ...
