Re: Free 100s-1000s+ Soundcloud Plays, Followers & Comments

I'll always maintain the same view... if your tracks are big enough then they'll get noticed, your friends will be proud to have a friend who makes bangers and will push your tunes to their friends, and so on and so on... you'll gain followers on SC that way, and maybe someone will pick them up. If...

Re: Free 100s-1000s+ Soundcloud Plays, Followers & Comments

I've been working on my overall plan for over a year. It only seems short sighted because I'm trying to pull the trigger on the whole thing now. The album is good enough to get the attention I need to start moving my career in a more professional direction. I don't need a run away hit, I just need ...

Re: Can anyone recommend some paid delay/reverb plugins?

I have to say 2caudio has some of the most amazing reverbs. http://www.2caudio.com/ Aether - is a algorhythmic reverb, and its ASTOUNDING. I had/have been using IR and convolution reverbs and as good as speakerphone and altiverb and etc are for certain tasks 2cAudio Aether takes the cake right now a...

Re: My Patchbay is Screwed Up!

I'm not gonna lie... I went to recording engineering school... and even at my height, I found wiring patchbays to be a bitch. Awesome when they work, the DEVIL when they don't. So I have opted to keep it unreal in my studio for the moment. I don't have enough OTB to *necessitate* a patchbay... but ...

Re: My Patchbay is Screwed Up!

I am wiring two 96 point bantams right now... such a fucking bitch.

but once its done the workflow and ease of creating sounds in almost a modular fashion is brilliant. Its nice to be able to to utilize every piece of gear in the studio at once if you want to.

Re: The 'Field Recording Exchange' Thread

i promised a while back that i would post up a few of the tape field recording sample packs I have created. they are all recorded on various formats of tape (micro/regular/reel to reels), and the recorded material is just about anything including chopped rhodes stride playing and etc. If people are ...

Re: Turn a shitty portable recorder into an amazing one

'tape is my haven :w: :w: for portable recording i really believe in cheap walkmans. microcassette recorders (with two recording speeds if possible or something with a pitch-wheel), and if you have them the cheaper portable reel to reels. I happen to have quite a few of each type of tape machine/rec...

Re: Focusrite Saffire 6 vs 2i2

The saffire is more superior in my opinion.

I have used it, it sounds nice and clean (pre-amps and dac/adc)

In the price range thats what i would go for.

Re: monotron vs duo or delay?

I have every monotron and the monotribe. I would say the delay is the most essential piece of kit out of those. A true analog delay... that you can run things through for 50 bucks.... yes.

Re: Analog Synth time

people who say dont bother with getting an analog synth have never used a good analog synth... you can't mimic the sound of electricity and its subtle fluctuations. Sure it won't make your music better out right, but you shouldn't be buying one unless you want to have fun or can get some use out of ...
