Just a quick bump: After reading through this thread and checking out what other Internet mastering guys are doing, we've decided to master the first minute of your track for free as means of sending you a sample of what your finished track will be. From then on, you can decide if you'd like to orde...

Hrmm the track for me kinda sounds monotoned. Needs some little builds in there and a bit of hype IMO. Others may say different. Depends what you're really trying to accomplish I guess. Maybe add a synth or something in there, spice it up? Better kicks/snares/claps? This sounds way too plain man, d...

I hope I'm not being a dick, but instead of trying to see what frequencies are occupying your track, why not listen to your track? Obviously drums like snare are mid-range, bass tends to be low-freq, guitar is mid, cymbals are high, etc. I don't see the utility in knowing exactly what frequencies y...

I never got into Japcore, a mate of mine is a nerd on it though! I quite like Jelly Roll Rockheads mind, but they are way more modern, on 625thrashcore.. fun shit Yeah, that's the kind of stuff I'm into. Exclaim, Tomorrow, all that kind of stuff. I do like some of the 80s Japanese hardcore like Gau...

I like the Serato/Traktor option. Two second-hand 1200s, plus the interface for either program. The upside is you can then play either vinyl or used the Timecode vinyl to control mp3s which are significantly cheaper than buying LPs. Downside is you're then DJing with mp3s. I don't want to start a wh...

Didn't realise you were American ;) I am in the band What Price, Wonderland? we're semi know in the states, Ebullition distrubutes our stuff over there Right on, man. I've heard some of your guys' stuff. Unfortunately, my taste in hardcore as of late has been old Japanese stuff. Just dropped $41 on...

I wish you all the best of luck :) I don't feel undercut in the slightest, so anyone arguing about it who isn't working in the area might as well relax. There's different levels, different tastes, different abilities, experience, gear etc etc. I'm as 'worried' by them as Masterpiece/Transition/etc ...

What HC band were you in? Probably none you'd remember, haha. I was in a couple of bands, the last being called The Intervention. We only toured the States (Midwest and eastward). I still love hardcore. Would love to play in another band, but sold my drumset years ago to move to California. Still c...

I was in hardcore punk bands before school, recording and running sound for DIY shows I did. I've been running sound since I was 16 (24 in a few days here), so I was doing audio for some time before college. Where did you do shows? also: Do you do ALL your processing in T Racks? Well, they were DIY...

-Were you doing audio before sound school? -How many years total have you been mixing/mastering? -What did you do before mastering? or was it straight from sound school? I understand what you're saying, totally. It's a really tough field to get into. I was in hardcore punk bands before school, reco...
