Resampling Basslines

I was talking to my music teacher the other day, he said he Resamples his bass lines about 30 times. Is that like a standard thing to do? And do you do it on all your basslines?

Just wandering really, kinda new round ere... 8)

I am soon going to be getting a new computer for production, and I was wandering, do you people with seperate computers for production have the internet on it?

Or do you keep it safe from sneaky viruses? 8)

I used Reason 4, until about last week I switched to Ableton Live 7, which i'm not greatly familiar with yet, but I have to say it is really good and pretty easy to pick up. I still use Reason for an occasional Rewire which seems to be pretty effective. 8)
