Re: Any mastering engineers - headroom?

as far as i understand headroom refers to the rms level of the track. Leaving -6db means that your track on average is -6db, peaks can be up to -0.1db still. in other words leaving headroom means not compressing your track to fuckery before having it mastered. correct me if im wrong though....

I wasn't saying I wanted to be a mod. And the whole idea about a new DSF was just an idea so that we could start off new, yknow. you never said you wanted to be a mod? No I wasn't. We were joking about making brostepforum. I have no intentions of actually being a mod. Chill out well course you have...

Noways don't take this personally, but I just went through your previous posts. I did this for a couple of reasons. Firstly you seem to be one of the biggest proponents of the idea that you can't talk about in depth or advanced production theory here, and two, you seem to be one of the biggest advo...

Yeah, the signal to noise ratio is off balance. I still try to pop in semi-regularly and contribute when I can but there does seem to be an influx of people that just signed up two months ago and already have a thousand posts . Not trying to offend anyone if this is you, but you don't have to post ...

This is why i still love this board, between the daily piles of bs theres still an intersting and valuable discussion to be found i really like what the guy in the article had to say and i think its perfectly true. the market is oversaturated with producers and djs at this point of time. even if you...

Get max4live and use the parameter lfo. dunno exact name, but basically allows to apply an lfo to any parameter on any fx or synth. that should do it.
