Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

@trepoz not so sure about your sound selections mate, also sounds a little bland and unprogressive. my favorite part of the tune is the 2nd drop sounds much more interesting here, maybe start to add some breaks here and there to help keep things rolling, keep at it dude. @maza1 intro needs more inte...

Re: Production forum feedback - what changes would you like?

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

c-e-s some nice drum work, the snare sound a little too weak though, and the bass line gets repetative. The bass sound its self could do with something to make it more interesting. sampletank like the nintendo style sounds in there, nice variation, not really my kind of tune but good still, acrap li...

Re: Tips needed to make my tracks sound more proffesional

I think i share your problem, i find i get loads of fatness over compressing stuff. Tried a new way of doing it in my last tune and it definatly sounds fatter, with regards to sounding like the pros. Its quite difficult to compare your work against thiers if yours has not been professionaly mastered...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *

@ Pazza, you need to give at least 3 people feedback before you request some for yourself mate, thems the rules round here mate. c-e-s some nice drum work, the snare sound a little too weak though, and the bass line gets repetative. The bass sound its self could do with something to make it more int...

Routing a hardware synth and kaoss pad

This might be a really dumb question tbh, but fuck it i dont know how to do it. :u: I am thinking of getting hardware synth and a Kaoss pad, so to see if i liked the workflow of a hardware synth i borrowed a mates microkorg and kaoss pad. Problem is i dont know how to route it. I have got it (korg) ...

Re: FL Studio issue..

when you load the sample into the sampler, open the little tab with the keyboard on the bottom. Along the top of the actual keys there will be one of them highlighted in orange. That is the note that the sample is. So if you lay the sample in the piano roll on that note it will sound the same as the...

Re: How to make my tracks energetic?

Active listening is a good place to start as the peeps above said, try laying a track into your sequencer and try to recreate it. Dont worry too much about the actual sounds just the groove and midi placement etc. This helped me when i started out. I would count how many bass notes there was per bar...

Re: When do you make your sounds?

Some times i cant be arsed to start writing a tune and fancy a bit of sampling or synthesis. Usually when im low on time and that. il start from old patches and start changing bits up- save it- change it -save it and so on. I normally start my tune with a drum loop, work that out a bit. then start l...
