Re: Waveform Shape

Re: Waveform Shape
Your waveform doesn't change overtime, it's the frequency "tricking" your ears it does. Higher frequency basically means you're playing the waveform faster, and lower frequency means the opposite. If there was a plugin that compensates between frequency change and adjusting your waveform,...

Waveform Shape
Is there a product or technique out there (most likely looking for a product) that shapes the waveform and keeps that shape independent of frequency? For example... I've created a nice 'saw-like' waveform in fm8 or massive and I want that waveform to look the same in every octave. But based on my se...

Which one / Which section are you talking about?
I don't hear any clipping, but if there is some it's probably due to heavy distortion

Re: Dub bass in massive help
amp envelope: fast (or 0) attack, put the sustain to 0 and then adjust the decay till you get the plucks. Increase the sustain afterwards to taste. you may module your filter with the same env for more effect. ^This, & play around a lot with different env settings. I find most of the good sound...

Kasshern & Toolman4: Thanks for the Advice :D I will try to get the drums a bit stronger in each track, and maybe incorporate some pads or higher freq items into the second. difference: Thanks :D Not a bad idea! I may try doing this, but I'm almost thinking of finishing the 'robotic' one by itse...

Re: The DIY Synth/FX/Stuff thread ... =)
So Glad this thread is back!
I'd love to make my own synth one of these days, only done a little bit of soldering though...
Would also really love to make my own softsynth, there are a few i've been thinking about in the past few days that haven't been done before I'd love to make.

Re: What's your method for transitioning into / making a dro
As far as the Drop goes - For me it's all about the silence, playing with that and making it feel right. Also using any sort of fx like a reverse crash etc., always helps. The only thing is you should make sure the fx match the tone of whatever you're writing.

In Ableton Live you can do 'sends only' instead of master for each track, I'm betting there's something like that in Logic also
