I’m good with filters envelopes routing etc, however my knowledge of which forms to use to get required sounds is awful so I tend to tweak presets out of lazyness, I am however getting a lot better

works a treat and is excellent at what it does, however I bought it just before I started producing so I only used it 4 or 5 times before changing its role to a paperweight.

Try copying MIDI automation from one item into another completely unrelated item, i.e. Autopan Speed into LFO depth

It sounds like a mess more often than not but it can also spark a bit of inspiration.

i generally have loads of ideas and try my hardest to convince people to make a tune when we get back then end up on the horse and not go anywhere near my daw

Normally automate its depth with enough attack to be able to hear the wobble come in and a long decay to keep it evolving if the notes held.

Tend to find it lends itself better to thin sounds, im desperate to make some fat 80s stabs.

All this talk of predator, I’ve sacked the synth off pretty much, I cant seem to make anything sound as phat as Massive without resorting to the in-built effects really early on (which is bad practice id say).
