You should invest in custom ear plugs that have filters on the ends. If you just use standard ear plugs that you see drillers or machinist use you are killing all the sound across the spectrum. I have custom fit plugs and they really make a difference after a long night out. When your ears are ringing non-stop mine are just fine and not fatigued at all.
