Also the idea of working with 'less' sounds very appealing, keep...

Re: Stop worrying and just get on with it

This. Some of my best productions have come about since I stopped trying to 'learn how to produce' and just messed about with sounds I liked. I use a program called eyeleo. It can be set to remind you to blink at certain intervals and to get up and take a break as well

Re: Do People actually DJ with virtualdj?

When i was in some shit club in newcastle the dj was definitely using it- every song he stuck the "put your hands up in the air" sample over the top of it. Every song. Me an a mate used to do this at house parties to take the piss. I'd have toleave any club where the dj tried it though, p...

Re: Intense build ups

Automate the cut off on a high pass filter
Could also automate the panning of two seperate instances of the sound so it 'spreads' out as it rises

Re: I think I'm retarded.

Did someone actually listened to the guy's soundcloud ? Because I think the fact he doesn't know every production trick in the world makes for some damn original music. Your stuff DOESN'T suck man. And it's actually more soundcloud friendy than a lot of semi-pro tunes that are drowned in reverb, mi...
