best groove quantization engine compared to all other hardware and daw. that was the most missing feature in 7, now the only thing which is nicer about logic is the inbuilt dynamics and effects.

Headhunter has a wicked Midrange. just like Optical and Kryptic Minds. But for D and B it was the beginning of the ending, cause after that theres no turning back, and soon you have lots of Dubstep Noisias ;-)))) resampling 100 times for the tightest midrange

Yeah, i feel the same about this. With Noisia, Spor and so it sounds more like Rammstein than the D and B i like ;-) Its like the resample the soul out of it and in the end they all sound the same, a strange way Drum and Bass had chosen there.

Benga uses Dynaudio BM6a.MK II. Perhaps what he uses is good enough for you.

I Think the whole we wanna sound like professional producers crab killed most of the vibes of D and B. Optical. Lots of early Metalheadz stuff and Photek etc. etc. isnt rocketscience productionwise, but it has tons of character. Perfect Production doesnt compensate lack of musical ideas and ability ...

The main thing is that the hoover mentasm sound was the epitome of Rave cultures 'shock of the new' to coin a fine art reference.

 So true. Energy Flash got me even harder ;-)
