Re: Ableton Live 9 and Push release date: MARCH 5TH!!!!!!

I bought the upgrade when it cost €164 from Live 8 to Live Suite + free upgrade to Live 9. Then after one day they bumped up the upgrade price to €250 or something. I've been using the beta for a while now. It's ok, nothing special. If I had missed the 'too low' price I probably wouldn't upgrade. My...

I have the regular version w/o USB. I wouldn't recommended for listening. However it's great for crate digging! :Q:

Re: Oh Mai Gawd Live 9

Push actually looks pretty sexy. Might sell Maschine for it. Or hopefully they map the core functionality of it to the Launchpad. edit:nvm they are double edit: the only upgrade path they show for suite is 850 for live 9+push...so I'm assuming 250 for the upgrade alone...figures. Who would've thoug...

Re: I need a compressor.

I need a compressor for parallel / bus compression. It must be simple and able to deliver some nice saturation / colour when the gain is cranked (analog). http://www.pspaudioware.com/plugins/dynamic_processors/psp_busspressor/ is this a good option? can I find anything cheaper? Thanks. 38% off any ...

Re: fxpansion geist is dope!!!

Geist is pretty great. I love the multiple levels of fx processing you can get going on with the different mixers. I occasionally use the song mode, it's pretty easy to use, though there are a few things I wish you had more control over. The routing options are pretty fantastic as well. I love samp...

Re: fxpansion geist is dope!!!

Anyone using Geist still? I've been playing with Geist Lite lately. I'm still on the fence about whether or not I should upgrade. 50% discount offer ends on September 30th. I also had the fully functional demo, but it timed out. 95€ is tempting, but is it really worth it? Geist Lite can do a lot. So...

Re: 32bit / 64bit Compatibility

You can run 32 bit programs in a 64 bit OS and a 64 bit DAW fine. At least that's what I have been doing on windows for the past 2 years, maybe it doesn't do that on mac. It does. You can force Logic to run in 32bit. Even the 64bit version runs 32bit plugins via "32bit (or was it 64) bridge&qu...

Re: Want to dabble into making trap.

:t: I have decided that I want to get into producing trap/ hip hop kind of beats, but the thing is I am very new to production in general. If anyone could recommend sample packs or just advice in general that would be great. As of now I am using Fl studio, and I want to just have some fun and dick ...
