Re: Kryptic Minds split up?

I pretty much think Jurkhead or what ever his name is had a hand in it. you realise that I'm the one vibing to all the new sounds the likes of Wen, Logos, Gantz, LAS, Livity fam, MssingNo, Plata, Chord Marauders or, to some extent, System blessed us with whilst you keep defending guys who are relyi...

Re: Kryptic Minds split up?

CapturePt, you realise there's a distinct difference between shaping the structure and aesthetics of techno in interesting ways and forms to create something innovative - Headhunter, Martyn, 2562 stuff, early Hessle, Mala's Neverland - and buying some analog gear, fiddling around with it and produc...

Re: Kryptic Minds split up?

yo Capture Pt. Osiris is Kryptic Minds' label. I was purely concentrating on naming some examples for in my oppinion good and successful experiments to incorporate techno elements into dubstep. and again, in my oppinion, the recent output on Osiris has mostly been a tutorial on how not to do that. ...

Re: Kryptic Minds split up?

[...] Si mixes things up. His collab EP with Killawatt shows they are trying something different, which is welcome in a time which the music (Dubstep) is generally in a rut IMO. Apart from a few artists like Gantz and Commodo who are making some great for thinking music. you might admit this statem...

There are many records they don't stock. So rather than call them 'shit' they just don't stock them. Simple.

Re: Kryptic Minds split up?

Apart from a few artists like Gantz and Commodo who are making some great for thinking music. osiris techno = great for thinking music? come one man... Where in that quote did I say Osiris? Even though, in my opinion they are releasing some great music. The Dubstep side of things Gantz and Commodo ...

Re: Kryptic Minds split up?

In my experience, Leon is a better DJ than Si and seems to make the better tunes (in my opinion of course). I disagree with both. I prefer the more diverse sound that Si brings in both production and DJ sets. Leon seems to play a lot of old tunes, where Si mixes things up. His collab EP with Killaw...

Re: Kryptic Minds split up?

I'm not suprised at the split, the Osiris releases this year are credited to Si, seems like they haven't worked together in a while. Just noticed on Instagram and Twitter, Si is recording under Monic now, very much looking forward to hearing what he is up to, as loving the direction of Osiris this y...
