I don't get all the comparisons to the Beatles? They're just a pop band from the sixties. I have little knowledge of how the analog sticks actually work, but I think they're just pots? If they are you MIGHT be able to make the deadzone smaller by soldering some small resistors in series with them, but that's just speculation. I think it's just more of a physical thing, ie the thumbstick...
