The Apogee Duet might be the answer you're looking for.
I use it for my stuff but on a Mac, so I'm not sure about PC.
They're great bits of kit though, the converters are top notch and have the XLR
connections you're after.

It's very similar to early Recloose stuff on Planet E check 'So This Is The Dining Room' EP and 'Spelunking'

Some Motor City Drum Ensemble stuff, some Patrick Pulsinger stuff.

And Soundcloud is a very interesting and fertile place to find new and interesting music, that's just as professionally produced/composed etc, and is far removed from the established music delivery systems, it's like crate digging in hyperspace. but again, quality control still needs to be more eff...

one of the biggest problem in electronic music these days imo is that people are obsessed with playing music that is newer, fresher, exclusive, unknown etc etc and completely ignoring whether it's actually any good or not Too much emphasis is put on Hypem still charts and identikit blogs at times; ...

the same could be said about seckle his demeanor and mannerisms aren't exactly friendly and most of the time very combative, but he seems to get a free pass I don't agree with that.
