Its just layering drumracks using a instrument rack. Drumrack pads contain simplers by default. But you can also drag n drop a sampler (or any synths) on the pads.

I have a pair of M-audio Q40's. They have an awesome deep bass. Better and then the DT770 imo. They cost around 150 dollars. Definitely worth to consider!
