Re: James Blake - Overgrown
Awesome album, though I think he should take singing lessons and sing less in his head... it sounds kind of whiny at times, I think he could do better. Other than that, flawless album.

Re: Rinse FM Thread
I, too, like the disco shows on rinse.
You kind of sound like a jerk, Lurka.
Scope: T. Williams usually plays good stuff like that, try and find the Deadboy special he did, that was a good one and all vinyl.

slaughter of the soul sucks and is the stepping stone most mallcore fans discover death metal. 'The Red in the Sky..." is a much better At the Gates album.

Herr Hertz, your 'tunes' are pretty darn good. I have a few questions I'd be curious to see if you'd oblige to answer:

Re: So Egypt and Muslim Brotherhood: Hate to say I told you
No offense dude, but although you may have made a somewhat correct prediction on what is going to happen in the run up to the election, to say that Iran and Syria have/are controlling the Muslim Brotherhood is just ludicrous and demonstrates you don't really understand the religious situation of the ...

Here's the tl:dr:
It's like summer camp for people 21-30 who make music. You need to be really good or creative. You apply, you get picked if you are either of those. You work with other like minded people. bam.
There are some people applying who have releases already out who are really good. It's ...

Great album, just got the 2LP last week. Am I really missing out on the extra 3LP one? I don't feel like paying with my first born to get a record shipped from Germany to Canada. Mine didn't have the stickers saying the tracks were wrong

Judging by some of the people I follow on twitter who are applying (Dubbel Dutch, Mele) who are next-level it really kills your motivation to want to apply. It is screwed, but it is not chopped. The more you know! Not an expert by any stretch but isnt that more chopped and screwed rather than a remix?
Do like it though
Need to get on and check out the rest of his work!
