Re: Massive sin undertones

Hmm but ive havn't got anything fancy going on, just 3 oscillators, -24, -12 and 0 with different waveforms linked up to a low pass filter routed to the lfo on performance mode as usual. The problem is i have a pattern cycling in the performance lfo tab opening the filter with a few blips here and t...

Massive sin undertones

Howdy, just making a patch in massive and its got some really annoying sine-like undertones where the normal sub would be on the waves, is it possible to get rid of them? Eqing them out just cripples the sound!

Cheers,
Phil.

Connecting monitors to mac - mixer or interface?

Howdy, apologies if ive missed a blatant answer to this somewhere on the forum but i've genuinely done a fair bit of searching on here and haven't really come to a conclusion! Most of what i was reading was for live performing, not just using the monitors through logic on the mac. All being well ive...

sl1210 goes mono from time to time

Hi, i've noticed occasionally one of my 1210s starts randomly playing through one channel - stopping/starting and re-cueing the track generally gets it back into stereo but its less than ideal mid mix - any ideas? Cartridge is the black ortofon concorde, decks were bought second hand so carts might ...

Re: PUT YOUR WORKS-IN-PROGRESS HERE FOR FEEDBACK.

Heres a short clip ive been working on, its very simple but any feedback would be greatly appreciated. The final mix was about...

Re: THIS THREAD WILL ANSWER YOUR MIXING AND MASTERING QUESTIONS.

Say you layer 3 kicks, if you want your 'resultant' kick hitting about -9 do you make sure each individual one is hitting at -18 then?

lol fair one. Yea its technically easy but just can't get it to sound quite how i want it. Just the lfo and increasing resonance doesn't produce the same 'abruptness'

Gemmy style lfo fill

Hi all, just trying to create a kind of Gemmy style lfo fill in a track, just want to figure out how to get that really aggressive sound with the automation curves, what ive drawn in just isn't quite right despite fiddling around with it for bloody ages. (Would you go for freq, resonance and volume ...
