Just thought i'd put up a video i made with a mate of mine. The track is mine also.

It's the first time I went to the bother of making a video too, good fun.

i'd love to know more about the synthesis behind that initial machine gun sound.

I met myself once, didn't really care for me either.

here's a growl I'd love to know a bit more about. High Rankin seems to mostly use NI Massive for nearly all of his sounds without much processing.

Here's our latest remix / release type thing. There are some growls in there at the beginning of the drop, if anyone is interested I can talk through my process. Yeah it became less about a combined effort and more about trying to impress.

it sounds like he used a couple of presets from Sylenth1, the second lead that comes in @0:14 is definitely the Scary Monsters Lead preset (LD Screamer - Factory Bank 1) in Sylenth1 for sure.

I know people don't really put up videos here but I'd love to make a growl or nail the distortion of the growl in this Far Too Loud tune, love it.

Great idea for a thread. There are loads of growls types out there.

Id you want to have your tunes sound like skrillex production quality-wise you're going to have to get the best mixing and mastering engineers in EDM. If, like the rest of us, you aren't rich off your ass then you should learn to mix as well as you can. I don't know who you are answering to but you...

Thanks for taking the time to do this Q&A man (without sounding like a kiss ass) you're definitely in my Top 5 favourite producers.

If you wouldn't mind sharing some details on the punchy triplets bassline in Reploid I'd be really grateful, it just sounds so gritty and chunky.
