yeah reaper and renoise are pretty light as well but when you start adding instruments you might run into trouble. you can basically run reason on a calculator and have a thousand instances of thor going and it'll be fine.

propellerheads announced that they had a separate team working on reason when they released record last year, so that keeps me hopeful that reason 5 will be released by the end of this year. although i doubt that to be the case. i recently purchased record and after a couple of months of using renoi...
