Re: Flying Lotus - Tea Leaf Dancers

a lot of his tracks which sound like they utilize heavy sidechain compression sound to me like the vinyl sim compressor of the sp303. madlib does this a lot too and he's known to use the sp303. flying lotus used to use one but i think he's gone all software know so i dunno.

Re: Three hardest parts of production for you.

1. doing something with loops. usually after creating a loop i like i just sit and listen to it for days. i suck at arrangement. 2. creating interesting melodies. 3. creating a sound in a synth that i hear in my head. normally i just end up making random sounds and then tweaking them a bit to someth...

Re: brostep production massive.

you can make quality tunes in it no question. it's just that other programs have more features.

but i still prefer reason to a lot of hosts just because i like it. different race horses for different race courses...

Re: this is madness.

i don't think something is less lame just because it is more difficult. that sort of mindset is backwards.

the only reason this course is fucked up is because it costs so much and wtf are they going to teach you? how to make wobble and basic drum patterns. hooray.
