Re: Nice glitch plugins?

https://soundcloud.com/austin_tacious/blood-reign/s-8TH2w Sure. This is a tune I did for placement. The crunchy bass and glitchy bizness is all Breaktweaker inside Maschine. Good luck! PM me if you need a hook up on it :) DL the trial first from https://www.izotope.com/en/products/effects-instrument...

I'm a big fan of izotope's StutterEdit. Breaktweaker is also lovely, but is a little different.

Mac only, but this improves fidelity by avoiding two generations of digital conversion. And it's free.

This is a PC ver of soundflower kinda... but not free.

Re: The amazing Alpaca

Someone should work on a soundSkrillexizer so that every motherfucker that comes to this forum asking how to sound like that guy can be pointed to a VST and we can be left alone. I think Sweetwater sells that though. You should ask your Sales Engineer about it. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/searc...

You should post up a tracklist. There's some good stuff in here, but no hits it looks like. I love that Kryptic Minds Minor 9 track...

Re: Do you actually buy software?

As much as I hate to pay big bucks for Photoshop because it's just a hobby where audio is a trade I can't bring myself to do the crax. I just use the little Elements version... Heh, I made good use of my student discount when I purchased the Design Premium Suite (as well as a lot of music software)...

Re: Do you actually buy software?

Honestly, if I were more adept at installing cracks correctly and/or if there were more quality, virus free cracks I'd probably play around with them more. But seriously...I REALLY love my current setup using all legit software. I have no bugs/problems and I really am learning to get the most out o...

Re: Do you actually buy software?

When I first, first started dabbling, I had cracks given to me by a mate. They were shit, caused me no end of problems and I am sure contributed to my PC's demise. After that, I thought 'you know what, I am enjoying this, this is what I want to do', so I bought Cubase and Massive, then Kontakt a li...

Re: Do you actually buy software?

I like hardware...but I think everyone has used pirated software at some point in their career. I don't know any engineer that hasn't at some point, trial period got used up by an unexpected visit from the inlaws, etc. The deal is paying for what you use. Bragging about knowing where the good kraks ...

Re: Imogen Heap

She's on an Avid (digidesign) ICON DControl which is controlling some kind of ProTools HD system. She's quite the creative spirit. It's one thing to write interesting songs (hook, melody, structure, etc) and something else to understand and implement technology on that level. My wife likes her music...

I'm in front of a mac all day and I just don't like staring at a screen even further. That said... I find if I listen actively for one pas and take notes THEN fiddle with kno...

Virus, no question. Good for bass. Good for super deep sound design. Novation would be my distant second choice out of those.
