I feel a bit embaressed to admit that I never knew about the 0 pitch issue with technics (which I've now had for about 5 years...) and perhaps this irrelevant, but I rip all my vinyl to play on my ipod - should I be ripping them at +2 instead of 0, or is this only an issue when mixing?

Something I found useful was loading up a few of my favourite tunes in my DAW and analyzing them as they played, dropping in markers (called locators in Ableton) at the drops, breaks and other key structure changes. Been using bitcrush on a send a lot at the moment. You can crank the effect right up to max, but only send a subtle amount from tracks that only need a little dirt.

Have you got any effects on return tracks? If so make sure the input for the resampling track is set to Master, not the drum track. Only thing I can think of.

You can move/delete the .dll files and folders however you like without doing any damage. Just make FL scan the plugins folder next time you load it up. I'd recommend moving them to a different folder instead of deleting though.
