Thanks alot for the advice, I have been mixing house for a while and understand the intro thing, I have found beatmatching with house easier than dubstep as the bassline is alot easier if you have any ways you could generalise the counting of dubstep that would help. :D Pretty straightforward G. Re: VA - Filthy! Volume 2 (Mixed By Arctic BassX)

Incidentally, what are you mixing on? Obviously could be a smidgeon tighter, but I know it's bloody hard when your bashing them together so quickly and your trims look real nice and even so you can't have much time to get that shit ready and hit the cue point you want...you got it all ready in serat...

Re: VA - Filthy! Volume 2 (Mixed By Arctic BassX)

Your SLAMMING out the tracks in fuck all time, your tracklist is immense, varied and FILTHY...at one stage I thought you might be using ableton or summink till I heard you drift a wee bit, so it's pretty tight...You know its fucking gangsta bro, fuck what anybody ...

I think you've done fantastically here...the bassline is moody and REAL busy so you just don't get sick of it...you've got good down time on the vocal so its not too fucking irritating, good echoey ambience throughout...real polished eh

A+ bro, keen as on 320 if ones around

The blog I have been most impressed with recently is: http://foreignbanguage.blogspot.com Great array of genres but most of the tracks posted are actual quality. The first two pages of blogs posted here getting all 'big up big upped' are fucking shit. If I wanted to read pages and pages of interview...

All this Step > Breaks, Why no Breaks > Step?

So I like mashing up genres a bit, and I've always been a bit of a fan of trying to slowly edge across instead of just cutting, giving a nice smooth transition. Dubstep and techy 4x4 (deep electro or techno) can do this very nicely, particularly when the dubstep has some nice techy momentum. Breaks ...

Dude, I reckon this is fucking wicked as is eh, and I can be fussy with what I like. Its a vocal track. You've built everything around it nicely...you're not detracting from the vocal with an overblown lead...everything is emphasising the vocal track just right. Don't change it imo. The lass actuall...
