How do you EQ a crackle, it's not like it's on one certain frequency?
remove common frequenicies where scratching and hisses occur.
So just eq out part of a tune?

Do a sound design session separately from your tune making session, so when starting tune, you don't have to start with empty patches, instead you'll have something already to choose from/work with.

If you are using Reason, then you could just bounce long sub, then open it in NN-XT, and map wobble ammount to W and rate to X. That way it's really easy to make your sub to wobble with rest of the bass, no need for CV.
