Re: Cubase 5.1 and timestreching
Cheers bro that seems to have fixed the tempo however what FLstudio does is automatically change the pitch of the samples according to tempo, or if you change tempo up or down.
So for example, ive dropped a 125 sample and the tempo is set at 70bpm the fl studio one sounds normal speed and of a ...

Re: Cubase 5.1 and timestreching
Ok, i think its something to do with the pitch altering... FLstudio automatically pitches it down.
Is there anyway i can get cubase to do this?

One thing thats really bugging me is the way its dealing with acidized loops & timestreching.
In FL studio it had no problem recognising tempos and playing the samples back at the desired rate, however cubase is seeming to lose loads of quality if ...

acidized loops
I'm using fl studio at the moment.
If you're writing a track at say 70 bpm, and try to drop in an acidized 140 loop it'll half the speed... which is what its technically supposed to do...
is there any way of turning the automatic timestreching off on acidized loops on fl studio 8??
