Re: BaronVonAlias-OverLoad ft Foreign Beggars (Dubstep\Drums
huuge loving that little melody at like 57 seconds, sounds jokes! some great synth work all round man what are you using? the vocals seem to get a little lost in the mix on the build up but not too badly, nothing a tiny automation wouldn't fix and as a suggestion, i'd try and get a bigger impact on ...

Re: Reason rewire ?
dont worry about asking questions man, how else will you learn? the thing with choosing DAW's is that it's completely subjective as to which one is the best, it's all down to you and how you like to work if you're really struggling with deciding youtube some of the ways you're thinking of working an...

Re: Issues with 'Drop' impact and balancing Lows/Mids/Highs
You should try using some explosion samples or wooshes as the drop hits that can give a nice effect and lowering the volume like mentioned also having a big build up makes it seem a lot more obvious as well so get some white noise in there and some filtering etc the little drum roll takes away from ...

Re: Garage-ish WIP
love it man, such a nice atmosphere you've got going cant really think of much in the way of improvement, obviously you need the rest of the track yet but that goes without saying maybe get some little samples just to keep things interesting not that i got bored of it at all, but just to keep things...

Re: 1step4dub-Talking suicide.
that piano riff is really nice man, well done on that it builds in really nicely too with the bass behind it really nice chilled drop, not usually my sort of thing but I'm actually really feeling this nice break after the first section of the drop, and i love your use of the sample where did you get...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
@nftfhx- It’s the one that started with the dark vibes and that chick talking then got really intense with little 4 note trancy sounding bits. 30-mil remix. I’m listening to it again and the drums sound pretty good. Make room for them by hollowing out some of that midrange and add some sub. ah swee...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
Nftfhx: Not the tune I thought was coming from the intro. A bit on the bro side for me but I have to admit I would love to hear this out. I’m a sucker for the trancy sort of brostep. It is fun, I’ll give you that. I’d make that trance arp more pronounced and way more low end. yo! thanks for the fee...

Re: studio/ipod/car
Get some acoustic treatment
by the sounds of it your environment is making your tunes lack in bass so you're cranking it up to hear it and obviously it's going to high for the car etc.
You need to get your frequency response as flat as possible with as little artificial sound as possible

Re: Is this clipping?
When your DAW has a little red light that says it's clipping, it just means the levels are pushing it's threshold however it wont make a difference to the sound unless it goes over by a lot That's the thing with DAW's now, everything is visual which isn't always a good thing you should focus on the ...

Re: Issues with 'Drop' impact and balancing Lows/Mids/Highs
as mentioned before, varying things makes the world of difference and you can also trying getting some light explosions or blows for when the drop hits, get a few different risers and layer them another good tip is to automate the overall volume of the track and have it jump up a slight bit when it ...
