Re: Magnetic Man - I Need Air

Lol at all the people who are too insecure to allow themselves to appreciate anything other than brostep midrange-cackness. So sick of this response. I don't care what genre music is, I like all sorts of shit. Unfortunately I don't like stuff like this, and I could give less of a fuck about opening...

Re: Magnetic Man - I Need Air

trance chords + autotune = me no likey I don't hate this song because "it's not like their old stuff" or because "they're trying something different" or because it's "not proper dubstep". I hate it because it sounds like ass (to me.) Following the sentiment of many othe...

I've been playin wit ableton since 2.5 when my mate first showed me and I am still amazed at how awesome it is. So far, the only thing that I have found that it can't do that I want it to is curved automation envelopes. No biggy but it's something (I am using 7 though, so if it's in 8, I don't know ...

hasn't done much for me since drukqs tbh, I don't see why he'd shy away from dubstep, he was happy in ambient, it would be interesting to hear a bit of fucking aphex acid dubstep :)

ohmicide you're on the right track with multiband distortion, I have no idea how this thread has gotten so long with no mention of ohmicide. It's just sooo good. I've been playin with the demo of volcano2 which is pretty sweet too for filter automation goodness. As everyone above has said, automatio...

If you can take the heat and make it snapping your fingers and beatboxing while slapping some spoons on your leg plus tap dancing then more power to you. Off topic but that totally just made me think of this crazy cat. The guy makes all his own instruments, weird synths and this wild spaceman get-u...

Why don't you tell me your favorite Ritchie Hawtin song ?
Plastikman - Consume

:)

But you are right, he's a dick for saying vinyl isn't profitable. I for one hope that vinyl is around forever. I'm certainly never getting rid of what vinyl I do have :)

Same is true of comics, movies, cds, books. Real vs digital can be debated on all these and in all cases I think tha...

Richie Hawtin is has been pioneering electronic music for nearly 20 years. Give the guy some respect. Sure, ditchin vinyl isn't what everyone should do, but think about it, he makes minimal, hardly a style of music that is going to be enhanced by vinyl. I challenge anyone to listen to a few minimal ...
