Re: amazing spam email i just recieved
i like to think that, somewhere, there's a genuine african prince furiously sending emails trying to give away part of his fortune and wondering why he never gets any interest good afternoon sir, i am that african prince! all i need is your bank account details and sort code. there is a pidgeon in ...

Re: ZOMBY - BLUEBERRY CHEESE
tunes about weed. original. you're right! I just realized how cliche the name of this tune is, now I hate it! Good looking out blud, I can't enjoy anything unless it's completely original and never been done before, especialy when were talking about THE NAME OF A TUNE, cause that's what important! ...

Re: bitcrusher?
it was the order i was eq'ing and bitcrushing in that was the problem and not alllowing the e'ing to work properly. i put the eq on a send channel instead and now i can eq fine. there is still high end even though i have filtered out anything above 300hz lol but whatever it sounds cool.

Ok then, tunes that are weed related. It's cliche. And don't go (nit picking) defending zomby because it was you who pointed it out.

Re: bitcrusher?
What's up with you Mr Deadly? Ooh ar, I forgot to mention sampling rates, and that relates directly to why you hear ringing with lower oversampling settings. Changing the signal shape (via bit reduction) causes different harmonics to be produced. At a sampling frequency of 44,100, the harmoni...

bitcrusher?
this is the first time i've used a bitcrusher. i've assigned it to a wobble from albino in FL and have it set on the 3rd type 5bit type and 6 downsampling and it is a good sound that i want but changing the downsampling gives it a high freq ring and its annoying an i can't eq it out. this is probabl...

Can a MIDI keyoard be used as a synth liek with a band?
Basically, i need a MIDI keyboard as i've got to that stage of producing where i know it's for me and want to get better. Also, I have a couple of mates in some bands that IMO and they agree if i wanged in a synth and banged out some synthy stuff (not enter shikari screamy shit though) it would be c...

how do you make kicks and snares?
Basically, I've always used beats from sample packs or cut up breaks but I want to be able to make my own kicks and snares. I want to be able to base a song around some really sick drums and sample pack drums tbh are pretty shit and limited. So how do you actually make drums? I've used some fl studi...
