Re: Problem with exporting
It could a lot of different things. First of all, when you are working with a lot of feedback keep an eye of the gain stage. It could be clipping really hard. Slap on a limiter in order to stop it from clipping. Additionally, it could be that some of you effects are not key synced. This means your s...

Re: Why do I always feel like I'm loosing sound quality?
Secondly, if you really think about it, there aren't that many options resampling opens up (compared to how much control you lose). Basically you can reverse, pitch shift and time stretch - that's it. I mainly agree (I rarely resample), but you can also chop it up and re-arrange/shuffle which is wh...

Re: Why do I always feel like I'm loosing sound quality?
Resampling is waaaay overrated imo. An artifact from the days of shit computers. I think a lot of professional artists would disagree with you. Resampling opens up lots of ways to process audio that you can't do in real time. It's certainly not overrated. You can do things like automate a few plugi...

Re: Reason Question CV's n stuff
Control voltage is mainly used for modulation. For example, in Thor you can assign LFO 1 to CV 1 Out with a value of 100. Now the CV 1 Out on the back of the Thor is essentially the LFO and you can hook it up to whatever. To use use Thor's filters with an external audio signal you will need to route...

Re: p0gman/d-jahsta/lifecycle basses
I'm guessing the thing you are after is not so much the sound itself, but the way that all the wobbles like.. bounce? I too was wondering this for a while. Use an envelope on the filter instead of an LFO. Start by having no attack and sustain, and then just adjust the decay so you get a nice stabby ...

Re: Effect at 2:15?
First start of creating the stabby synth that you hear near the end of the sound. If you're done with that, add an arp and turn the rate (not synced) all the way to the fastest setting, automate it to go slower over time, and done. :) EDIT: Not to be a snob, but there is a dedicated thread for "...

Re: The extremely embarrasing basic question thread
thats really cleared that up thanks a lot.... an eye opener for sure, ill have to open up my DAW and have a good look at the order of fx, and think about how they are affecting eachother... A real easy way of recognizing the order does affect the sound is just trying reverb > distortion and distort...

Great remix, I heard it on 1xtra the other day.
The kick is doesn't sound that special to me though, I think it's just from one of the Vengeance Electro House packs.
