You have got some really good ideas coming through here, liking the atmosphere and the way you're making the track bounce with the drums. For improvement: you could bulk this up its feeling a little brittle and a little weak with just the bass and the drums constantly rolling out. Remember dubstep e...

Nice to see you've actually taken our rants to heart! It's chilled yet dark... very interesting indeed. I'm liking the crazy-long intro! And mental sample. Only slight suggestions for improvement, the drop into the bass after the into could be let loose a bit more, let it go completely nuts if you l...

Yeah that 'bounce' that m4rs is talking about would be phat in your song. Make everything drop but the bass untill the snare... seems to be the way. I like to think that worked in my songs anyway. Do you ever get that moment when your sitting at your computer desk almost gurning due to a bass line? ...

Oh yeahhh liking this one more.. got a bit of smoking quality to it, can imagine monging out with a zoot to this... and i am. Great drum samples/mapping too, i really like it when artists have a go at changing their drums (and in the words of Chase and Status... 'add a bit of bonjo') I went through ...

Actually you can forget that bit about being minimalist, you seem to have got that bit! You know what it might be? I think the background noise and the bass are clashing ever so slightly. Trippy. And some variations on your bass could be an improvement, if you duplicate the track but change the LFO ...

Oh snap! I'm really really early in the producing game. I have one gcse in music and thats pretty much it. One thing i discovered is that you dont need to layer it on for it to sound phat, almost the opposite. Try to be as minimalistic as possible as in my experience if too much is going on it just ...

oh never mind, the second works. Sick bassline! I like that snare too. And it's got a sense of humour. I don't really like picking holes in peoples work so the only slight constructive criticism would be you could do some variation in the bass and drums as it does go on a bit. Although, after a zoot...

Oh right thats good news, i think i know where i'll be going at christmas. Is there really a History of Herb museum? It really does sound like weed heaven, i'm almost expecting Peter Tosh to be president and the whole place to be policed by Cypress Hill. How spenny is the weed though? like for an 8th?

Cut the poor guy some slack

If this is your first track or an early attempt, great start, it has potential. Not a bad idea to get a new program but if you don't have enough money to get one, stick with what you've got. As long as your producing you can only get better :)

Keep it up.
