just kind of visible proof that industry and business can take the things i love about art, then cheapen, dehumanise and simplify them to the point that they seem horrible and nasty little "products" to me, and for some reason get away with selling it to way more people and actually making...

keep in mind that music theory was based mostly off of Bach symphonies and is also several centuries old something about the nature of society means that there will always be more copycats than leaders. And with the internet and everyone and their dog pirating fruity loops and wanting to be the next...

all about 100. well technically ive been doing 200 recently, but same thing. great middle ground between being able to do spacious dubstup grooves and scatty breakcore-ish blasts

I use an Native Instrument's AK1 for exactly the same reasons you described. Has some pretty ugly looking vestigial midi buttons on the top it's pretty much ideal, and decently cheap too. And about the size of a novel.
