Re: Deity - On The Shoulders Of Giants
It's nice dude, the percussion works well. I found it got quite boring. But that's probably just my personal preference, seeing as a lot of 'real' dubstep is very repetitive. I do often like dark and melodic tunes though. Nice work!

Re: Mindforce - Acrimony (Robostep/aggressive)
Oh really? It sounds pretty thick coming through my stereo, so I guess that's just the stereo EQ'ing. And I'll try out some reverb on the snare and see how I like it, but I kinda like the choppy-ness of how it is now. And I hadn't really noticed that about the wobble, though the more I listen the mo...

Mindforce - Acrimony (Robostep/aggressive)
I know most of you hate brostep and probably robostep too, but I thought I'd try to get feedback anyway. Cheers http://soundcloud.com/r-lipski/acrimony Any ideas how I should end it? I don't really wanna put another drop in because I don't really know how I'd pull it off without making it sound chea...

Re: Galvanize - Wobble?
Yeah thanks I sent him a PM explaining just what I was asking, and if he could be bothered answering. I also put a link to this thread.\
Yeah actually it's a pretty old tune by Datsik, 2009 I think

Re: Galvanize - Wobble?
Yeah but I doubt he'd just "tell" me the trick to his most signature (imo) wobble. Though he does sound like a boss from the posts of his that I've seen. And he hardly ever comes on from what I can tell, but you're right worth a shot haha.

Re: Galvanize - Wobble?
Yeah exactly. And datsik seems to be the only one to ever use this technique. Which he totally pulls off, especially in songs like Mechano and Jenova Project where it boosts the 'dark and robotic' style.

Re: HELP...Samples, Patches ect..
Seriously, learn how to make your own sounds, then buy an external hard drive and back your shit up!
Sounds to me like a lesson learned the hard way
Anyway good luck with your sound design

Galvanize - Wobble?
I know almost all of you hate little bitches like me asking "how do I sound like datsik??" But that's not what I'm asking, I've read through all the DSF's threads and 'sounding like datsik' isn't what I'm after as such, just posting in case there's someone who could be so kind as to extinguish my bu...

Ok yeah I don't know dude. If no one else on here can help you, you should try the image-line forums. That's what the support section is there for I guess.

Re: [E-MU0202 FL Studio 9] DAW or E-MU problem?
Hey dude I have FL Studio 10 so it might not be the same. But I'll see if I can help. I'm not too sure what you mean by distorted, but If it's a crackly sound that you get, then it's probably because the buffer length of your sound driver is set too low. I use the ASIO4ALL sound driver which comes w...

Mindforce - Dropnuts (Dubstep? /Brostep ?)
What's up guys. I recently started trying to make a dubstep song as an experiment, and for the learning. I started making music (melodic trance mostly) a few months ago, so this was quite a learning curve. Yes there are a thousand things wrong with it, and you could criticize pretty much all off it....
