Re: Frequency Splitting Bass Processing

Re: Does anyone mix/ produce with a subwoofer?

I have two KRK 10-3 monitors and a shitload of sound foam and bass traps in every corner. These things go low enough and are powerful enough that I would never need a subwoofer, it really depends on your setup. In a smaller room a subwoofer might actually make things worse. Get some acoustic foam up...

He said he is on mac, so he can't use it. :(

It is amazing though, especially when pair with patcher, formula controller and the env controller.

Re: Your Favorite effects?

ho hay, the old "what scaffolding did you use to build that house" thread. :6: worry not about plugins until you've garnered a few nuggets of wisdom from the secrets of psychoacoustic reception; which are as potent with cut n paste as they are in a million dollar studio. Hendrix used 6 strings n an...

It is all pure speculation because the ones who reply to those kinds of threads don't know anything about what they are going for, and those who do know how the sounds are made are smart enough to avoid those threads entirely.

Re: A quick question about Harmor

Change the distance between the two points, take the one on the far left and drag it closer to the start to make it faster. You can also do time synced phasing this way, just turn on the "tempo" button and drag the far left point to one of the vertical grid lines. You can't automate the speed of an ...

Re: A quick question about Harmor

It is because the phaser lfo offset doesn't reset as you suspected. What I do to fix this is set the phaser lfo speed to 0 and automate the phaser offset like so: http://i.imgur.com/IqZbklt.png Make sure "global" is off and you have the envelope set as a loop. You can also use the lfo control of the...

Re: What Monitors are you guys using

As promised, I got my sound foam, bass traps and monitor decouplers set up, so here is an update about my KRK Rokit 10-3's They sound like 100x better than they even previously did, so great. Everything is so clear, great stereo image as well. Really decent monitors compared to the previous KRK Roki...
