Re: Drum and Bass Build up

The_Dza88 wrote:how do you get the drums on a build up to get faster and faster on reason

I've done this on a couple of tunes now, tempo changes.

Have to reqire it.

I'd recomend ableton because it's easier tor ecord live tempo mods in it.

some photos of our launch party in Sydney @ Void. Was an absolutley massive night, couldn't ask for a better first gig out of my home city. Such diverse sets, awesome crowd, big community vibe. 400 odd punters through the door - dancefloor jumping from very early right through to when I stumbled out...

I just discovered CV routing in reason. Always knew it was there just never really looked into it. It's pretty friggen cool.

Also about to start looking heavily into doing stuff live for a minimal tech/dubstep crossover project.

Steveh the monitoring on the twin track is not really nesacary for you I don't think, just monitor with your normal main outs. Moniroting in that is for when you have a session musician or vocalist pluged into it so they can monitor themselves post-processing with zero latency before it goes to any ...

I worked on headphones for ages. Senheisser HD212pro. Not fantastic but reasonably flat. Deep bass response anyway. Managed to get 2 vinyl releases using them so can't have been that terrible? I'm no mixdown king though. Since I've gotten a pair of Dynaudios, and even though I am very very farmiliar...

i really want to understand whats goin on with that reverb machine, its pretty crazy that's how reverb used to be. Same with the original plate reverb, they actually fed the signal through massive metal plates. I've got an old furman spring reverb, not as beasty as that thing in the vid but its pre...

While I realise that using a keyboard can speed up work flow, it doesn't solve the issue of being creative in the first place. I guess it depends what you're writing. I feel like I've got my hands tied behind my back with no midi. Tunes would be completley different if I couldn't have hands-on cont...
