I dont see the point in purposefully radio-friendly dubstep, and in fact am well against ppl intentionally doing that. But if someone makes a tune that is creative and heavy, and it happens to have a sound that can appeal to other ppl then ill be happy to see new influences and directions, regardless

hmm yeh i find this a difficult one. Cos it seems to me its only 'coffee table' because it fits the image certain businesses/groups want. Obviously, as you say horses for courses etc (i dont mind it smooth as well as rough), but i find the words coffee table a bit unfair cos its not the music itself...
