Yeah, Benga's set was my fav of the night. What was that tune with the old school motown track sampled in it. I think skream played it however the night is starting to blur together now.

Like some other people mentioned it was possible to hear the same track through four consecutive djs, even if the track got re...

Glasgow Dubstep Producers?

I just moved to Glasgow from Detroit and I'm interested in linking up with other dubstep minded people for working on tracks and what not. Surely there's some others in Glasgow working on tunes :D

Like some of that industrial stuff, but dubsteps a broader church than just the above. Might not have heard the right industrial, but it did seem to be brutality for the sake of it, regardless of the sonic innovation. I think industrial music has suffered from mass stereotyping. People hear Ministr...

I was there. Heard two dubstep tracks throughout the weekend... both in the Real Detroit stage.

Jared Wilson played a Digital Mystikz track and while Otto Von Shirach was setting up they played a Vex'd tune.

Well the EMU(I have an e4 platinum) can do a couple things. It has an internal gain to add some slight over-drive and it has the colouring ...

I really like how the da converter on my EMU colors the sound, in addition to that since all sampler functionality takes places on the EMU it frees up processing power on my computer for other tasks. Also some pieces of kit have proprietary algorythms that aren't emulated properly yet by VSTs such a...
