Have to say though: IMHO a big part of the stuff making people bellyache has less to do with the systems used than the components of that system, i.e. the users. There's no doubt the demographic has skewed younger and younger over the last 8 years and the rise in pedantic bad apples is a corollary....

of course not, it is just an easy shortcut (one-click login with yahoo, google or facebook account), but there will always be traditional login (same system which we have now)

this is first time ever that we are running forum over HTTPS (which means that all your private data is encrypted) but there might me some technical issues with browsers treating external linked HTTP content like videos and images as unsecured (compared to forum itsefl which is now on httpS)
