i think it boils down to the drums... syncopated organic drums like the tablas or congas really works well in dubstep in addition to snare-less d&b. once in that musical/cultural context using other exotic instruments such as sitar, chinese mandolin, or even harmonium really complements the style.

ez all i had my record bag stolen after FWD on friday night, on the N149 at about 3.45am - bag full of dubs,promos and my sennheisers... damn man this is really painful to read. i can't imagine losing a box of CD's let alone a crate of dubplate$. but for whatever it's worth... at the end of the day...

hehe but yeah i think my tolerance for suffering as a deejay is nonexistent these days.

getting paid in drink tickets is nuff bullshit to deal with in the underground scene, lol.
