i crave after the etymology of so many of these words.

i know that "nang" is hindi for "naked". it seems plausible therefore that the word entered hip-hop/grime-mc parlance via the desi music scene in britain.

i'm staying in to watch itv's dancing on ice that night. i'd love to make it to dmz but, you know, priorities and all that............

this is a superb mix. probably one of the best programmed dubstep selections i've heard since skream's august 2005 thing in fact.

i think dubstep can hold it's own now amidst the dnb,soca and reggae rigs.

no doubt about this at all. *except* for a certain church hall on effra road, i can't think of a better venue for the sound.

the insulation all that hair gives the ears from dmz sub-bass shouldn't be underestimated. no earplugs required for me.....

it was an excellent night. my first time at dmz and the hype was certainly justified. looking forward to march 4th already...

can anyone speculate on whether this is going to be a sellout by 10.30pm or whether it's going to still be walk-in at 2am? obviously 40-odd people have confirmed via this thread (which is fantastic) but since i'm assuming the venue holds 200+, and those on this list are the target demographic anyway...

i didn't see the movie but i instantly recognised it from the trailer a couple of days earlier.

that's excellent news. but i wonder why it wasn't advertised any earlier?? or even on the dmz website??

no audio clip i'm afraid. wednesday's rinse fm session doesn't seem to have been archived anywhere yet so i guess i'll have to wait for the id.

the fact that it was spun by hatcha now means that i probably won't be able to actually buy myself a copy until sometime late-2007 in any case.
