Re: Any Rugby League fans out there?
I caught some of the 7's game last night...I never even realised 7's existed, it kinda blew my mind. 7 minute halves, 7 a side, full size pitch?! This is all news to me. Big up the ruby crew any way. One of the only big team sports with any actual sportsmanship left. Fuck football, bare overpaid dud...

Re: so what happened with bitwig then?
Don't lose faith. I've not tried it out yet, I'm waiting for all the features to be filled in, but come on...even if it flops, some of the features will hopefully be replicated by other DAW developers. Logic, FL, Ableton, Cubase, etc have all stagnated a bit in my opinion. We need something like Bit...

Re: with/without Compression?
If compression isn't making any noticeable difference to the track, you're not using enough of it. Disagree. On decent speakers you can hear even very small amounts of compression. If compression isn't making any noticeable difference then your monitoring setup (or ears) aren't good enough. I used ...

Re: Pioneer PLX-1000 Turntable Technics replacement?
This deck is in no way a suitable replacement for 1210s. Don't even go there! Spec wise, this new deck is poor compared to the 1200 (0.1% wow & flutter vs 0.01%) and you know, in a similar vein to their CDJ/mixer business, they'll be charging £40 for a replacement knob which costs 0.002p to manu...

Re: DJs these days
yeah but if a song has an "ungriddable" beat, then you will not be able to beatmatch it regardless of what you're using Load of shite m8. I do reggae mixes all the time. It's a lot of fun and way more rewarding than beatmatching two tunes at 140 and 141 BPM. If I couldn't see the waveform...

Re: A good break down of producers earnings
That's the current industry though isn't it? Is this Nick Thayer guy just naive or attention-seeking? Such a minuscule percentage of music makers are going to be able to make a career out of it I honestly don't know why so many people put all their eggs in that one basket and then whinge about it al...

Re: What game are you playing?
It doesn't feel like they added enough to CoH 2. It feels like an expansion pack. I have a ton of hours logged on the original multiplayer so it would take a bit more to bring me back. I guess my high expectations are a bit unwarranted though. CoH 1 is a tough act to follow. I was hoping for a new ...

Re: DJ Pay and Set Times
£50 aint gonna buy you much. i think our cheapest DJ was Kowton - I cant remember how much exactly but was around 400-500 i think. 1.5 hour set. Jackmaster was the most expensive at not a lot of change from £800 odd, for a 2 hour set if I remember. 400-500 / 800, plus bed & travel? Stitch up. Y...

Re: What game are you playing?
not convinced by these "survival" games tbh. They're not games, they're practice for TEOTWAWKI except it wouldn't be like that. I just don't get em, there is no progression, no skill. It's just run around and do shit till someone comes and kills you, then start again. it might be more fun...

i dont see what the big uproar is can it do anything other daws can't? You can collab with other producers on 1 project over the internet.....so me & you can collab in real-time if we both have bit-wig. Yep, this is the one reason I'm interested. I'll definitely buy it if/when this is implement...

Algebra -> Trigonometry -> Calculus -> Differential equations would be the correct order. My Book on engineering math says elementary integral calculus is the prerequisite for Fourier Analysis. DSP also requires complex analysis. I recommend: Will Pirkle - Designing Audio Effect Plugins in C++ Musi...
