Re: Choking Hi Hats in Fruity Loops?

Just go to the cut itself, don't mess w the numbers. Than whenever you want to choke it. Just make another note of it in the piano roll, but with the velocity all the way down. Works everytime.

Re: FL Stereo Shaper on drums?

Sounds good = do it Doesn't sound good = don't do it I gotta say wub, this response is starting to get on my nerves. It's fairly obvious that if you add an effect to your track and it sounds like total shit no one is going to keep it on there innit? The reason why people are asking is of course bec...

Re: Tip for everyone on Low Frequency Managment

nice tip, or you could just lengthen the delay start and attack on the sub only if your sub is following your kick pattern, else you have unnecessarily long attacks on your sub when the kick doesnt fire. same goes for the fade method. I really dont get the point of this thread, sidechain whatever n...

Re: Cutting off frequencies in ableton?

op cut at 20, 20-30 is where all the good bass is at. not that 50hz bullshit. your always gonna have shit in subsonc frequenices. if you start cutting like crazy your tune is gonna sound digital as hell. unless its extremely loud, one eq8 with a steep Q will do just fine.
