The EMX is a drum synthesizer, while the ESX is a sampler.
Mainly using it for creating the drums. I got the MPC's and Maschine for sampling but I love the sound that comes out of the electribe when making drum loops.

I think I'd be going for EMX then.

Korg ESX vs EMX?

I'm looking on getting one of the 2, I see a lot of people using the EMX but see some using the ESX for dubstep beats. Anyone shed some light on the best one to go for.

Thanks

Routing the output from ES2 through another ES2

Not sure if this is possible, but can you chain ES2 synths? i.e. rout the output of an ES2 into another ES2?

Nah it wont just be used for music, although that's the main use. I do apple software and iphone development so just want something rapid when compiling large projects.

Im fully excited. The machine itself cost me £9,500 but decided to buy legit software and some other bits and get myself a Triton.

I feel like I want to just go to sleep and not wake up until it arrives.

MPC 1000 - Dubstep

Sorry if this seems like my first post, I've been a member for a while, but forgot my username so had to re-register. Anyway. Got my MPC 1000 yesterday and my HD25 MK2's. I do a lot of old school hip hop, used to own the 2500. All my dubstep goes via Logic but I was thinking about doing it on the MP...
