Re: Mornings - Lectric (Feedback)

the drum programming is my favorite part. im a big fan of that shuffle feeling. IMO i think you should have some more bass sounds programmed in there. the whole "call and answer" thing works really good. just for variety. the bass isnt bass by any means. btw is that Albino? with some spect...

Re: Dubstep with Reeces [Need Feedback]

O_o interesting mid range bass there... sounds like its gonna rip my speakers open

for some reason the piano sounds slightly delayed. (can anyone second this?)

good job.

dude can you please put what program you use next time you post a question like this it makes a BIG difference in the answer you get. if you use ableton you can easily import the song you want throw a loop on whatever drum part you like... open a drumkit, start a midi clip, tap out the beat yourself...

Re: So I just wrote a quick guide to music theory

not bad chad! this really breaks it down I've seen this posted on here before but the whole "RWWHWWWH" bothers me and I feel like I have to say something. The "R" adds confusion for beginners... I know it means "root" but the way I look at it is... if you break down a C...

Re: Jaydot-Lost City

yo jaydot great work on this track. the drums are superb. i think all the levels are sitting just right. the hat samples are nice, not harsh on the ears. this track has a lot of "warmth" to it. only thing i could say is maybe that lead synth repeats a little too much. other than that outst...

i dont know if its just me but the high hats are killin me on this one. i think the level should be brought down. it seems so distracting from the rest of the track. sorry to offend but its harsh on the ears.

Re: C Average -Downer clip

not really a fan of the long intro... that pipe synth lead is pretty interesting. damn squeaky metallic resampling you got going on there. 1:34 is sick. mind divulging how you made that sound? seems like a flanger of some kind. do you put out a new track every week? :D i always see your shit on the ...

Re: How to improve drum production?

Download premade midi files... analyze them... learn what sounds good and the way the patterns look You’ll notice a lot of midi files have mixed velocities for that "realistic" sound or you can go the old fashion route and just click random shit. :W: http://www.dogsonacid.com/showthread.ph...
