... of this is experience/portfolio building. A lot of guys who make money mixing / mastering have been at this stage one time or another (myself included) it's a win/win situation ...

It is easy to do anything badly. Work on your mixing and pay for someone who you respect and release something you can be proud of. Anything that is louder will sound better, match your volumes and see if it is actually better or is smashed hat ...

Bump, new tunes almost finished. Mixing down the tracks tomorrow, new preview of "banished" is up if anyone wants to give it a listen.

Also re-mastering all of my old tracks to reduce the staleness of overpowering reverb, and my bland single drum patterns.

I enjoyed listening to your song. It was very nicely layered around the drop. The only thing I would suggest is to work on the mixing/mastering to even out levels with the drums. It sounded great though and I got into it. I was referring to the top song.
