I prefer Preudhon's stance on this. Property is both theft and freedom.

Re: The hypocrisy of Theists

The state is not evil, it's one of the greatest institutions history has provided us with and we must take full advantage of it, not shun it to the side. Reclaim it. This combined with some of your other posts has me really confused. You make sense most of the time, but do you really think this is ...

You could hardly write a better recommendation for me, on it. Also, while le samourai is obviously his masterpiece, the rest of jean-pierre melville's work is also very good. Probably my favorite 'classic' director.

Re: Can anyone vouch for this Mastering service?

I dont mean to turn this into a competition but 45 quid for a single track is a little hefty. Im fairly sure the guys i mentioned will deliver for half that price, and before anyone asks i have nothing to gain from promoting them. Im just doing it because i believe in them. Before anyone questions i...

Oh these two do MUCH more then dial in some ozone presets. Just because you may have had shitty experiences with no-name netlabels doesnt mean everyone is cutting corners. You get quality for 20 quid a track here.

Re: Want to buy some software.

Im not an expert on any of this by a long shot, but i will say you need a suited interface if your going to work on the low end on headphones. I dont even have 'proper' monitors, just a set of adequate wharfedale speakers. I tried working on my old mans Sennheiser Hd650's and every time i tried it w...

Re: Post Your Random Thoughts: for the production heads

I keep forgetting my own techniques and its god damn annoying because some projects have over 40 versions, and almost none have sensible names before their finished. Think along the lines of 'heavykickhousethingy 25-b'. Insert random facepalm.

Writing an article about dubstep and techno.

Im due to do one. There has been a lot of cross-pollination and crossing over between these genres and its quite interesting to me. I would like to try and document and illustrate how this has happened in the last 6-7 years. To me it all falls into a broader context of genres mixing and bleeding int...

Re: Mastering Compressing Question

Of course paying for actual mastering is almost always better (if you have the right ppl for it), but who can afford that without the prospect of 'some' sales? Thats the real pinch in this whole deal. I wouldnt throw 50 bucks at something thats gonna end up a free tune on SC, and lots of people prob...
